Internal Quality Assurance Policies and Practices in Colleges of Education in Ghana: Resource Dependency Theory Perspective

The study examined internal quality assurance policies and practices in managing colleges of education Ghana to meet the requirements Tertiary Education Commission perspective resource dependency theory. population were staff education. Purposive sampling technique was used select 2 Principals, 6 Quality Assurance Officers, 12 Department Heads Colleges. Telephone interviews recorded transcribed verbatim. transcripts imported into NVivo 11 for analysis. found that even though most Colleges are state-owned they have depend on their structures ensure processes government regulatory body expectations. It recommended affiliate universities, collaboration with Commission, should support build capacity Assurance.
